All inventory items (inventory items) in the company are accounted for in this section. Filters help in selecting the right inventory items.

The ideology of the inventory item is that an item of inventory cannot appear out of nowhere, but enters the accounting records when it "arrives" from supplier.

Inventory item can be a single unit of goods (for example: switch, crimping tool) and then it can be given a serial and inventory number, barcode, as well as inventory item can consist of multiple units of items (for example, a coil of cable, couplers).

In the latter case, such a inventory item can be further divided into several parts.

Or immediately piece by piece in which case there will be separate inventory items with their own properties.

When working with the inventory items it is possible to use the "group actions" functionality.

Starting from version 3.17, the possibility to confirm or cancel the transit of inventory items has been added to the group actions on inventory items.

In the general list of inventory items the possibility to search by part of MAC-address of inventory items is implemented (since version 3.17).

Implemented multiple selection in the selector of inventory item names in the list of inventory items (from version 3.17).

Starting from version 3.18:

The possibility of mass selective deletion of decommissioned inventory items has been added to group actions.

Filtering by a specific supplier has been added to the filter of the list of inventory items.

Added warehouse selection for the "Transit" option in the list of inventory items in the filter.

You can customise table fields in the list of inventory items.

Merging of inventory items

Those inventory items that have the same transaction history can be combined into one inventory item. For example - 2 items of inventory were received into the warehouse with one operation (but separated piece by piece). At the same time 2 inventory items were created. Then both inventory items were transferred to another warehouse, then to the employee's account. They have the same movement history. These are the kind of items that can be combined into a single item of inventory.

The same inventory items where the movement history is different, merges are not possible. This is due to the fact that then you get a lot of confusion when trying to identify what really was where and in what quantity.
