Hot change of switch
For switches it is possible to perform so-called "Hot change" of device. In this case, the receiver switch receives the IP address of the transmitter switch and the entire Object switching is transferred from the old switch to the new one. This is useful for promptly replacing a failed switch.
In this case, the switch-receiver must be (like Inventory) in the accountability of some employee.
After hot-swapping - the new switch inherits the properties of the old one and (as a commodity) is transferred from the employee's sub-account to node, and the old switch is transferred to the employee's account.
If the new switch - port count is different, it will be accounted for.
To return the device to the warehouse - you must clear the port switching.
