'''When adding a building on the map, the map moves to a completely different city/area'''
When adding objects to the map, the geocoder of the mapping system is used, which tries to find the geographical coordinates of that object from the text address you have entered and moves the map there. This is very convenient.
However, in some cases - the map moves to a completely different location and even to a different country. Why does this happen? The reason for this is that there is also an object in the place where the map has been moved that contains exactly the same name as the one you entered, and this object is suitable for the geocoder.
How do I get rid of it? You need to set up your address hierarchy. Under "[[Address System#Address Units|Settings - Addresses]]" you must specify the data about your region, the area within the region ''(if necessary)'' and indicate in the properties of the settlement to which region/area it belongs. The address string for the geocoder will then be more extensive and give more accurate results. |
